I wasn't trying to rush them on medical. I just wanted to make sure they received the furtherance letter reply from the panel physician.
I really don't like that furtherance requests come via email only. There's no trace of them in the Express Entry portal. If it had gone to spam... I don't want to think about what would happen. Seems nuts. All communications should be in the portal, in my opinion, with an email to tell you a letter is there, just like AOR, etc.
The furtherance request said we had 60 days to comply, so I just wanted to make sure they had it and didn't need anything else from us at this point.

If you call at the right time, then you get transferred to the agent and out in queue. If the call volume is really high then you may need to wait.

It's *67, not +67. The 67 isn't a country code. It's to disable caller ID. If you don't have a Google Voice account, you probably don't need to dial *67 anyway.

I have raised a webform for my query but I would really love to speak with someone at IRCC, guess it is not possible from US? But online it seems people are able to using Skype or Hangouts ..

After seeing all the tips and tricks we tried all those. But none of them worked! May be its working for people trying within India or other countries. Not sure though
These instructions no longer work since Global Affairs no longer transfers to IRCC.
The good news is that you can still call. Get the TextNow app and do not let it auto select an area code. Use 416 for the area code and it will give you a Canadian number. You can then dial the 888 IRCC number using data/WiFi in the app from any country.
