Love_Young said:WOW thanks sooo much for that. I think though we might just make an appointment and bring everything with us. Maybe they can help me with everything as well. On the ITN form it says it takes 4-6 weeks to get a number issued but we don't have that long to wait since they want us to reply within 30 days, well more like 9 now... here is hoping they can do something for us. I will post here when we get everything done.Update me if you figure everything out.
Hi Love_Young!

Do you have any news about this?
I called them yesterday and I got different answers.. again

Anyway they now said that I only have to send RC65, with an attached letter declaring my income for 2009, date of marriage, and declaring how long I've been in Canada. And declare that, since I've been a visitor, I do not have a SIN number, but I still have to go to Service Canada and request one, and if I get one (seems like Service Canada does give a Temporary SIN number to spouses sponsored in Canada in some cases), to update it with them. If I don't I have to send a copy of the refusal letter. Love_Young it seems to me that this is the problem that you had.
Service Canada phone number: 1 800 206 7218
To this letter, I have to attach copy of my passport (visitor entries), my latest visitor record, and copy of my marriage cert (I got married in Toronto so copy of the long form)...
Hope this helps! Let me know what you find out

I might call them again today to double confirm...
