GSS/GTS application current timeline

Hi,
Under GTS(LMIA approved) visa has been applied on 12th July and I completed upfront Medical on 12th june. Completed my biometric on 25th August but had no further update.
Anyone else have a similar situation and awaiting update or had some update from IRCC?

I completed my biometric from USA on 7th Sept. Filed on 27th August. I think they are processing biometrics from 18th Aug. You should have something late next week. This is my guess.

My employer's Attorney office submitted my GTS (LMIA approved - took 3 weeks for the approval) on 7th Sep. Below are the details for my medical and bio-metrics.
Location - India
Upfront-medical exam - 30th July
Bio-metrics - Since I already had an UCI number as a part of prior visa process (visitor). (Done in 2019)

Question - Would I still need to re-appear for the bio-metrics? Or they would consider the existing credentials? Also, would this help expedite the process as bio-metrics are already done? Thanks in advance.

I dont think you will need to do biometrics again but you can check with the lawyers. Biometrics are valid for 10 years. Your application should be processed fast as biometrics are already provided. Please keep the progress updated. My biometrics was provided from USA on 7th septemeber, so our dates align.

When can I expect the results?

Hey guys,

When can I expect the results?

It looks like people are receiving the PPR after 1 month of providin the biometrics. Your's should be quicker as biometrics were already provided.

I completed my biometric from USA on 7th Sept. Filed on 27th August. I think they are processing biometrics from 18th Aug. You should have something late next week. This is my guess.

Quick update I got was to submit additional info for my spouse (asking for 10 years work/education history )

We have submitted it in 2 days of getting the request.

And now it is says: additional document uploaded and they are reviewing the application for both.

Initially applied on Aug 28th. Biometric/medical was done previously.

Was your Wife's visa applied as open work visa with your ICT-GSS closed work permit? My lawyers also didn't ask me for my wife's documents. She has a working history of 11 years too.

Lawyers haven't received anything yet. Do you know if for spouses open work permit , Amy educational or experience certificates were asked? My lawyers didn't asked me for her documents but mine. Mine is ICT visa from US.

Thanks. Is it from India? Was the Biometric and Medical done for PR application or was it only for the ICT? I have also asked my lawyers about why were those documents for my spouse not asked for but they haven't responded.
