hi,

I been asked to submit the docs today, I think it is pretty quick. My application for FSW reached Sydney on 25th March and they have posted the letter on 8th Apr and I received in Bangalore,India on 21st Apr. Just 14 days is quite impressive.

I need a clarification from Indian friends, which one is easier option to get PCC. From Police Commissioner office or from Passport office. I am staying in Bangalore, but my passport was issued from Chennai. Will it take long time if I apply in Bangalore office.

I appreciate your response and time.

The quicker way is through the Police Commissioner. Hope you have been staying in Bangalore for a while for the Bangalore authorities to issue it. Good luck!
 
Hi, thanks for your response. I been staying here for the past 1.5 yrs. And I have doc for my address proof like property doc, EB/water bill, telephone bill in my name.

Hello Thayyib,

Good news that your application is on track. I submitted my application (from India) on 14 Apr,08 & sent to Syndey. Now I am waiting for response. I have same condition like you, Passport issued from location A and working on location B (past 2 years). I went to Police Commissioner office at HYD and enquired the same. I came to know, this process would take 10- 15 days.
