Hi All,

I applied for Canada PR in Feb. I renewed my passport and I had updated the IRCC Webform(CSE Request) on April 3,2018. On April 6,2018 I got a Ready for Visa Email(PPR). But I didn't hear back about the passport update confirmation from CIC. Please could you tell me if I can send my new and old passport together to the visa office or should I wait for the response from CIC before sending my passport? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

You can send only the new passport.

Source: Me, that's what I did because I also renewed my passport before PPR.

They do not send confirmation emails for things like an updated passport.

I guess the main information stays the same .
I mean even in the confirmation emails .

So if you're so worried , send in your old passport too .

Thanks for your reply guys.. I received email from CPC saying that your Passport information was updated and they asked me to send only new passport. Hope this helps anyone facing the same issue in future.
