Reached NYVO at 08:30 AM / 5 March along with their permission letter to appear in person to get my visa. I was called to submit my passport + 4 pictures and PPR mail at 09:30 AM and asked to collect my PP at 01:00 PM. Finally, got my visa +COPR at 02:00 PM. Returning to Delhi tomorrow and planning to land in Toronto on 15/16 April 2012.

Congrats on ur PR visa. God Bless you. I can understand it been a long wait for you. I have few questions for you please let me know how you got medical request and also PPR? Please advice. I got a reply for my inquiry that I have been sent Medicals through regular post from Buffalo but have not got that in had till now. Its been more than a week.
I reside in India and my visa office is Buffalo how will I go about doing my medicals here and where should the report be sent to? Is it to New Delhi or Ottawa? Please let me know about these process how did i happen for you.
It will be a great help to me and other forum members who are in the same situation. Thanks in advance.

I got my medicals by postal mail and PPR by e-mail. You should be getting your medical soon.
I did my medical in New Delhi. They sent reports to NDVO who uploaded these in CAIPS/GCMS. These reports are accessible to RMC-Ottawa for seconding as well as visa office any where. As soon as NDVO uploads reports for another VO, an automated summary report with a notification is sent to the concerned VO (in your case will be Buffalo).
