Got My Visa Today..

Hi.....I got my Visa today on 11/11/11...So happy
Thanks Every one
I am giving some details..
I applied on 18 Oct 2011 with Following Documents in VFS Canada Centre Nehru Place Delhi
1. Acceptance Letter (Unconditional with CAD 19000 Scholarship for PhD Engineering Sciences in Simon Fraser University British Columbia)
2. Admission Letter from the same
3. Visa Application Form
4. Family Information Form
5. Masters and Bachelors Degree and Marksheets
6. Employers Letter
7. Form 16
8. IT Return
9. Student Questionnaire Form
10. Visa Fees

On 21 Oct 2011 I received Medical Form From High Commission New Delhi
I Got my Medical Done on 29 Oct 2011 and Resubmit my Passport on 2 Nov 2011
and Finally Today I receive my Passport with Visa.
SO it took 3 weeks to get Visa..As they (CHC New Delhi) Claim

can you please tell ,, that did you send your project proposal from india only..and what was your gmat score . its good to learn that you got into sfu.. with scholarship of 19000 cad 8)

Yes I did send the proposal from India only. I did not Require to submit GMAT/GRE. Actually In Canada these scores are not compulsory to submit. Even I did not submit TOEFL/IELTS, Which is exempted for students who are from IITs and some other listed Institutes.

It is minimum of 3 years course and yes I am from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur

IIT selects India's top brains and the graduates are brilliant. They are so good in maths , with the exposure you got in tough exams and entrances,, its needless to say that gre or gmat are not needed at all. I am sure you will do great in P.hd . best wishes.. its a pleasure to know you sachin
