going to apply under general category.chances?

I applied for student visa in canada under spp and it got rejected

reason for rejection is : your proposed study is not reasonable in light of one or more of: your qualifications , previous studies , level of establishment ,or your future prospects and plans.

my profile-
10th cbse - 6.6/10 cgpa
11th science - 42%
12th science - 52%
(got a combined marksheet for 11th and 12th due to which my total went below 50% and became my negative point i think)
IELTS - 7.0 bands ( L-8,R-7,S-6,W-6)

college - Fanshawe college
course - Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

i am going to apply under general category. people say that in spp approval chances are 90% while under general it's only 10% :'(

what are the chances in my case?

chances in general are as good as in spp. depends on the applicants profile and also a lot luck too. but this far in august i doubt u should apply for a sp and try for the next intake after applying for caips n finding the exact reason n correcting them.

i will apply for winter intake that is jan intake. i don't think any reason for applying for caips and wasting 30-40 days.
