My employer's law firm has just applied from the US for my work permit under Global Skills Strategy program. The program is advertised as 2 weeks for processing.

But the IRCC website says it takes 6 weeks for processing if applied from USA. Is it truly 2 weeks or does it take longer than that?
 
Processing time for any visa is just a guide on website. Really depends on application.
