hello there!!! i remitted total of 10100CAD from SBI on 9th june... i was unaware of the other bank charges.... my agent told me that they might cut around 40 CAD..so am i likely to get my GIC???

100 is for administration fees and 10,000 is for GIC, they cut 15-40 then u wont have enough money for GIC.

on the other hand, some banks transfer the complete amount and cut 15-40 dollars from your bank account and not from transferred amount,

Ask from your bank that from where they will deduct the commission. From the 10,100 or from your account.It is always recommended to fund around 10,150$ to eliminate these problems.
Secondly, when i funded my GIC via HDFC they deducted 500 rs from the account and not from GIC money.

THANKS!! i asked my bank...they said they had deducted the commission and charges(1527 INR)....but they also said that the SBI CANADA might deduct 25CAD...

Realx..bank accounts dont cancel from ur 10,100 CAD.
They are going to deposit 10,100 to novaa scotia bank as per ur request

Hey bro it's better for u to call scotia bank helpline number and ask them about status of ur funds. From sbi it will take about three working days to receive money in scotia account . So pls call them.

It should be 10000 after all the deduction so ur good to go dont worry
