I didn't get any email today also so I talked to scotiabank , they told me that we don't send any email after we get funds , we directly send the gic .
So i told them my passport no. And they said that we have received your funds and they are under processing , you will get certificate within 5 days.
So i guess you should also ask them once , i think they have received your funds today. Please contact them

Hello! I did wire transfer on 18th may for my gic account and got mail after 3 days showing 'funds not accepted as the address doesn't match our records.' Then i came to know that address in the passport and in the bank has to be the same which was not in my case so i get it changed. but now its about 11 days i have been waiting for those funds to get back. I called scotia bank but they say that funds have already been sent so u will get in 5 7 days. It's delaying my file processing because only gic is left else all is done. Does anyone know how much time it takes for funds to get back and whether it gonna affect my visa processing or not as mine is September intake and i want my visa by the end of july atleast .

omg i did the same thing. I don't live in the same house as the one written in my address and i applied for gic on 28th june from a different address. What should i do?

So after reading the whole thread, i contacted my agent and she herself wans't aware about this. Then she told me to get the address changed as you guys suggested which i have done. Question is when i transferred the money my address details of account was the same if scotia bank have checked it then they have probably already rejected it. Can i contact them and let them know that i have updated the address?

If they have rejected it then they must have sent you a mail , if they have not , then you will get the gic , but to confirm if they have received the funds , you can contact them on their toll free no.
Now , if they tell you that we have rejected it , then go to the bank from where you send the money , and as you have updated the address , ask them to revert the same wire payment as soon as possible , you will be charged about $50 for this , tell them that i don't want the money to be refunded in my bank account , i just want to send it back from wherever it is rightnow.
