I got admission at Seneca College for Computer Systems Technician Diploma. I am trying to apply for GIC but they do not have that program from United Stated. Do I need a GIC to apply for study permit from United States even if I am Indian Citizen. Instead of GIC I will show $20,000 savings bank statement, will it work?
Another Question,
I completed my Masters in Information Security and have 2 years of work experience. Is this going to impact my study permit process? Is there any chance they are going to ask why are you going to Diploma as you have masters degree.

GIC is issued by a Bank in Canada, doesn't matter if you are in the US or India. Diploma after Masters will be rejected unless you have a extremely strong requirement. Which has to be clearly mentioned in SOP.
