Dear Canada Visa Forum Community,

I just received a ghost update this morning after receiving my MEP yesterday--I received an e-mail with the title "We updated your application status" but there were no updates in my application. I was just wondering what this could mean as it seems that ghost updates do not really take place at this stage of the application. Here is my timeline so far:

AOR: Feb 8, 2021
MEP/Biometrics Request: Feb 18, 2021

FYI, the background check section of my application says: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. Thanks!
