Hi everyone,
I have a question about getting PCC for Thailand to submit OINP. I got approval and waiting for IRCC draw but I want to be proactive and complete getting a police clearance certificate asap as it could take a long time. I am a Non-Thai citizen living in Thailand. I'd like to get a PCC here.
I don't understand what they mean by "after you apply". Can anyone share their experiences about how to get a police clearance certificate, as a foreigner, in the kingdom of Thailand?
I submitted a family sponsorship application. My partner previously lived in Thailand. After submitting the sponsorship, we received a letter from IRCC, which we used to request the Thai police clearance. We are now awaiting the result.
Application submitted: Sept 19
AOR: Oct 19
IRCC letter: Oct 25

Hello
If possible, could you please share the procedure that you followed for getting thailand pcc from Canada(like required documents, fingerprint locations, payments)
I worked in thailand before .Recently my husband got OINP approval and we submitted the documents except thai PCC.As of now we are waiting for AOR or ADR
If you can advice in this situation it will be very helpfull
If you go in a car, park in the police hospital. Parking is very hard to find.
If you go in MRT / Taxi, it's very easy to reach.
As of January 2025, there will be a receptionist who can speak English after entering. This will be the only person who can communicate in English.
Inform them about your request for a police clearance certificate, and the receptionist will give you a token.
Anyone who went to the Thailand immigration office knows the procedure here.
Wait for your counter number and go to the counter once called.
In the counter, a person will ask for your passport + requesting letter + which country + all the documents you downloaded and filled.
They will carefully fill out the form on their computer and specify the country to which the police certificate is needed.
They will take a picture of you. This picture will be printed on the certificate.
After pictures, they will take fingerprints. All 10 fingers. Standard Thailand Immigration procedure.
Finally, they will print a dummy form and ask you to check the name/address/phone number/country/passport number thoroughly.
Once everything is okay, they will send you to the payment counter.
As of January 2nd, 2025, the price is 100 THB for one certificate. You can choose to pick it up by yourself, or you can apply for a delivery through a courier. If you choose the latter, the price will change based on the distance.
After payment, submit the payment slip to the person who took your photo and fingerprint. They will specify the date of delivery on the receipt. Make sure to come only on that date, not a day before or a day after.
For people who stay abroad: Go to the nearest Royal Thai embassy and follow steps 1 until 4.5. They will advice on what to do next.
