Getting a Canadian drivers license in Manitoba when moving from US.

Hi,
I was wondering if my US Drivers license would be of any help in Canada when I am getting a Canadian drivers license, or whether I would have to go through the whole written test and behind the wheel test process all over again.
I know that I can drive in Canada with a Valid US drivers license, but I wanted to know the procedure I would have to follow to actually convert my US drivers license to a Canadian one.
If anyone could help me out, it would be great.

Upon further research, I found these pages:

The reason i was having problems with narrowing down my search was because a lot of the stuff was in French.
I though I might as well post the links here as this might be helpful for other people in my situation.
