I really appreciate your help. I got my CoPR in January 2021 and for long time I thought that IRCC was holding my documents but thanks to you I found out that CBSA Mississauga had my documents after I went to the office. They gave me my documents in one hour.
When u become PR. Do they transfer automatically or we need to request 6900 airport road to get our passport from
Cbsa montreal. Ircc is telling me it’s in montreal and write a letter to them. But I don’t understand do I need to visit montreal cbsa or cbsa Missisuaga
You might need to check from cbsa mississauga first. If you've used toronto address on your PR application, they would have transferred your file here but it depends on your situation. If cbsa processed your asylum application when you apply for asylum then, most likely, your file is still with them either here or in montreal but if you go to mississauga, they will help you arrange for it and contact you when its ready.
Anyone collected there passport. Please share ur experience here. If 6900 airport road is not holding ur passport you can fill a form if you live in Toronto and they can arrange ur passport from ircc montreal to be sent to them. That what I was told but they said we don’t know how long it can take. So anyone had experience with ircc montreal for passport return personally. I will visit cbsa Toronto again for updates. Anyone had experience please share

I think the best place is 6900 airport road as it is cbsa land enforcement office. If they don’t have ur passport they will tell you where it is and also you can request them to get it for you.
