Hello everyone, Please clarify my doubt that on the Canada website it is mentioned that general IELTS is accepted for study visa in the SDS category.. I want to confirm whether it is accepted for the fall 2022 intake also or not..

There are millions of Canada websites . share the link to the source. If the sources is IRCC then there's no questions. Else don't be fooled by third party webpages.

Ay OP is confused. Now me as well : ))

The study permit is now Normal and SDS category
For the normal study permit they have not mentioned about the IELTS requirements whereas for SDS they have stated a student can show either general or academic. Also i found in the requirements for SDS, an LOE / SOP is not listed whereas for Normal study permit application it is listed

I think from what IRCC stated in SDS category the IELTS could be Academic or General.
Only general will be accepted for EE
