GCMS shows 'Security Screening' and waiting... - let's gather here!

I applied for Citizenship May last year. My application is still in process. As per IRCC, it is pending security screening. I ordered GCM note in Nov, criminality passed, but security section is blank. Any idea when I this can be completed, any experience? Thanks!

Did u get cleared? mine, application submitted June 2023 the security started October 2023, no update since then

May I please know how to find out when they started security screening? I also applied in May 2023, AOR June 2023 and it is still pending security clearance.

To figure out , u will have to apply for GCMS notes and it will take 1 month to get it OR u can call the IRCC and ask them directly they will tell you right away.

check the last pages of your gcms notes , u will find general notes if u find a note with ( label: adm) it mean’s admissibility. this will refer to to the starting date for your security check

How long after CSIS will CBSA take to complete?
I think outland applicants' security checks are processed faster compared to inland applicants. Am I correct?

Every case is different regardless of being outland or inland! It all depends on the complexity and most importantly the third party agencies can take a long time to respond to CBSA which is completely out of the hands of IRCC!

Hey any CEC inland applicant April AOR still waiting for Final Decision or stuck in security check
