I have promised myself that I was not going to check the forums, whatsapp groups and my account but can't help it. This is indescribably frustrating. I started to feel like offended being a professional who has been working for big multinationals for his entire life and has all sorts of information perfectly documented. Especially considering the things people have done to bypass all of the procedures that I have undertaken and went freely and then tried immigrating.

And still I am afraid to submit an ATIP request for CSIS and CBSA.

It can be originated from anywhere. I know few cases where people were issued PPR and after passport was submitted, local VO office put people under SS.

Welcome to the hell call 'Security Screening' .. Average processing time is 6 to 18 months after SS start.

Good that your SS started so early after AOR .. for many SS has started after 4-8 months from AOR. For me my SS started after 5 months of AOR.

My notes mentioned SS not started from April 6, 2017. Another member from the forum mentioned that the date against the SS not started under the activity is the real starting date of SS? Is it true?

Good that your SS started so early after AOR .. for many SS has started after 4-8 months from AOR. For me my SS started after 5 months of AOR.

well search this forum and you may join security screening whatsapp group. many inlanders have waited double your current time before getting the ppr. i am not implying that you will have to wait for this long too. each application has its own timeline.
