Comprehensive Security Screening since February 2024.

Today I saw a ghost update in GCKey.

CSIS ATIP reply indicates that they are not done yet as of July 26, 2024, so not sure the GU means.

I saw an update on tracker today that my background verification has been completed on October 9, 2024.

No CoPR info on tracker, FD on GCKey or Portal email yet

Could you tell me how to check when Comprehensive Security Screening started? I ordered GCMS and CBSA, finding Comprehensive Security Screening in progress, but these notes did not indicate when it started. Background verification started form last Nov, but I think it is different from Comprehensive Security Screening. Thank you.

Notes section in GCMS notes said C-check required, followed by C-check submitted.
These text were initially redacted, but later appeared. Not sure what circumstantial change triggers it.

I got GCMS notes from March, April, June, July and August (As the date the notes were retrieved). My file was submitted for C-check on February 22, 2024, the day after my second ADR was replied to. I could see those notes uncovered (not redacted) starting from GCMS notes from July.

with those notes uncovered, I could see some information on Security section in the Admissibility Assessment section of GCMS notes, and I could find out that the file was in A34 Comprehensive screening.

Thank you for your answer! It seemed the exact start date had been redacted until C-check approached its end. So I was stuck in the middle of the progress without knowing information, until the end date is coming soon.

I've got the same timeline as yours. Security started in October 2023 and received GU's on Sept 27, Oct 4 & Oct 9. GU's are usually positive indicators, but if everyone is receiving them, it could be just general system updates.

It has been so frustrating especially when you cant determine what factors they use in sending people to comprehensive screening. I try to focus and don't get too worried. Hopefully one day it will end.
