GCMS shows 'Security Screening' and waiting... - let's gather here!

Just received my CSIS note. It said they completed my screening check on July 29, 2019 and now my file was returned to CBSA. Anyone knows that how much longer do I need to wait? Thanks!

I lodged my file last April 2018. I guess it took 10 months just for the security check. It started after my pre arrival services. I called CIC last friday and told me that I completed all the screenings and its just awaiting decision by an officer

I am May 2018 AOR...Eligibility, Crimanility, Medicals (expired) - all passed as per GCMS, but applications still 'on hold' for further review since Nov 2018.

Got reply from MP today that processing center is waiting for information from 3rd party agency. Could be security. Have never ordered CBSA/ or CSIS notes. Call center agents do not give me any information.

Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

This is the first time I got a reply like this which says, it requires additional verification.......
Is it generic response or something else..... Do I need to be worried about it??

I got the same exact reply from Ottawa on Aug 21st. 18th Feb AOR and the wait doesn't seem to end anytime soon

That’s because call center agents do not know if Security Screening already started, they’ll just know if Security is already done/ passed! That’s from my own experience of calling them!

Submitted on Feb 18th. Waiting ever since, no updates so far except from a msg from Ottawa stating "additional verification"

I dont think so, sometimes, it means SS is finished and its awaiting decision by an officer.
