NO officer has been assigned to the file yet. Mine was like that until the very recent GCMS (aug 2023) and then suddenly my LPP was completed last week. My Applicate date is Sep 2022 and I was waiting since test pass Feb 2023.
My understanding is the day they assign an officer, the file progresses. Please also note my Primary offc was showing Sydney in my GCMS.
yes, we applied same date. my partner gave the test 3 weeks later than me and I am already a citizen for 2 months. Didn't contact local MP considering there have not been any positive movement for other folks with MP involvement or getting a standard reply of application being within 18 months timeframe

I know it very early to order GCMS but due to JOb offer in States I sent webfrom for Urgent processing a month ago, No response from them. So I applied for GCMS.
I know the wait is frustrating. I waited 8 months for my LPP to go green since my test was marked completed (I still have no idea when my Oaths gonna be). I know folks who are waiting from even longer. That is the curse of Sydney office. :-(
Can anyone tell me how I can request GCMS notes from ATIP. The link just keeps sending me in a circle. How are you all getting the ghost update and the GCMS notes? Including finding out where the application is being processed? Thanks !

Check your tracker for ghost updates, if the date changes or gets updated, it means someone actually looked at your file.
GCMS notes are emailed to you around 30 days after you request them. Choose email obtion.
Call or order GCMS notes to find out your primary and secondary office.
Looking at the trend, they might as well just prepare the citizenship certificates well in advance for applicants who will apply in October 2023 all the way to Dec 2023 and forget early and mid 2022 applicants even existed!

I got my LPP/Oath date 10 months after my test. Hang in there.
Have you been emailing them/requesting GCMS notes? I emailed the IRCC minister, kept sending webforms (with PDF attachment letters, I heard that works better) and did not let up. I even told them in my letters I would continue to reach out until I at least had an answer as to why there was a delay. I started aggressively contacting them in August and had my LPP/Oath date a month later (my oath date is tomorrow!)
