First off, thanks to every active member on this forum. Its a great source of information and provides personal guidance for the most part.
Just a quick question - I saw a post that talked about "when to order GCMS notes?". It stated that its advisable to order GCMS notes after AOR to check if there are any discrepancies noted during preliminary checks, so we can act proactively and submit additional evidence before VO takes up the file for detailed investigation. I am a July 3'rd CEC applicant, received AOR on 21'st August.
Does it make sense to order one now? Or should I wait? Experts please comment. Thanks.

Considering the current speed with which CIC is processing, if I were you then will wait until sometime December.

I am a July applicant too. I would not bother ordering the notes until March next year. Even in December the officers in Ottawa may not have opened your file yet. Your GCMS notes will probably only say "received this guy's application on Aug 21st."

do your medical first and if you find that something is wrong then you can order GCMS notes. Until you finished the medical I don't recommend it. Or after your aor if your medical takes more than 7 to received it then you can order to see what happens. Hope that helps

Hello Einstein_pr,
I would suggest 1st GCMS (VO) notes to be requested,
in your case around 6-7 months from AOR, this is the period when your eligibility and your 'no-criminality' is likely to be established leading to MR. Rejection would generally based on eligibility or criminality factors of assessment, so GCMS may reveal a few things useful.
Hope this helps!
