Hey there,

Could you guys know who can apply for GCMS notes?
I checked on IRCC (Updated May 29, 2017)

"Send a request you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or an individual or corporation currently in Canada.
Note: Personal information that belongs to an individual who is not a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or currently living in Canada must be requested under the Access to Information Act."

It means that I can apply for my friends who don't live in Canada now
(p/s: my status is WP, living in Canada)

So, Can I apply for GCMS notes for my friend?

Yes you can. Ask your friend to sign a consent form and upload with the request.

Yes, you can apply for their notes. They will need to sign a consent form authorizing you to get their information from IRCC.
