I think they have grouped the SA into the 'Eligibility Review' that takes 16 months (door rate anyway). If we are both in the backlog streamlining, then yes it's possible that October would be when we would get it.

Okay so worst case we receive it in October best case we receive it before. The reason is when I check the Sept to Dec 2015 applications persons received them in approximately 7-9 months. I am not even looking at Jan-June 2015 SA because I think they were put on hiatus because on the 25 000 refugees program.
Also based on where your application is (background check in progress) as opposed to mine (nothing in progress) I think you are definitely in streamline. Me, I don't know.
I guess it's possible, but I would suspect the sponsor should know about why they shouldn't be able to sponsor (eg: previous CIC debt, married more than once simultaneously, domestic violence, etc). So it shouldn't be a surprise to them. For me, I have none of the disqualifiers, so I suspect it would be approved. Just irritating that it's a pretty fast check for CIC to complete (on a Canadian Citizen / PR).
The only reason for checking off the box to continue processing if sponsor is ineligible is if said sponsor already knows they are ineligible and the PA plans to appeal the inevitable refusal on H&C grounds.

Guys, i have a question. Hoping someone here can help.
When we order our GCMS Notes, where exactly does that request go?
Does it go back to our VO and they are the ones processing it?
We were supposed to get our Notes on August 17th - we received an email saying that they know that our request is late and they would mark it priority. But its been 10 days now, and still nada.
I'm just curious whether its our VO thats taking forever or is this completely seperate?

All GCMS requests go to Citizenship and Immigration Canada main office which is up in Ontario.
