Hi mate,
If you are applying under SPP, then your education loan should come out to be 80% of first year's tution and living expenses.
That is all you need to show. However, make sure that you do pay the first semester tution fee from your education loan.
Hopefully this post helped answer your question.
hi farm boy. i am not under spp cause i am going for university .
so , now funds for tuition and living is to be covered for two years or one year... ???
I am not sure about it mate... but if i remember correctly, two of my pals went under University category.
One for an MBA course and other for MS. Both had to show liquid funds equivalent to the tution fee and living expense for two years.
I was also trying to check on the vfs portal, but the portal seems to be down at the moment.
If i get some concrete info, i shall surely post it on this thread.

Hi,
You need to show only first year of tuition + living expenses and a possible plan for second year funding (evident from your loan letter).
Your tuition for one year: CAD 14,740
You have put off first semester fee: CAD 7,370
You need to show: CAD 7,370 (CAD 14,740 – CAD 7,370) + CAD 8,000 (Living expenses)
Total:
CAD 15,370 (Rs. 7,38,000 approx.)
ok enfield.

thanks for reply buddy, are you going for university too. whats your programme duration and what were the funds you had shown mate.
@ farm boy. thanks for the support. i tried to open www.cic.gc.ca but it didnt open as well.
