Anyone from Colombo CIC with NOC 4121 or who has similar a experience,
My AOR from Colombo says that my application is in a queue and will take 18-24months to start processing. Any thoughts on the matter. I fall under the new system and my details are as follows,
Application to CIO sent 09/11/2009
AOR fro CIO on 10/02/2010
Full doc's sent to CMB-CIC 07/04/2010
ECAS status Received by Visa Office
Any thoughts from someone who could shed some light on my issue?
I have been keeping an eye on things in London and they seem to be processing the 2nd AOR acknowledgment in about 3 weeks if they recieved it on the 29/04/10 then I would imagine you will get your AOR on or around 20th May 2010..
I've received email (2ndAOR) from Buffalo (my current location is US), but when i'm trying to see it online they cannot identify me. Can some one clarify the link for me for online status check? Thank you.
mbastudies, i did not deliver the documents by hand. I had send them via USPS priority mail.
I was not able to send my FBI certificate the first time, so i had send it later on. I quoted the old file number on it. But the day i send the FBI form, i received the 2nd AOR/File number, asking to send any further documents with this new number. So i don't know if the FBI certificate reached there into my file safely.
Could you please mention your time line..as it says you have already done your Medicals...when did you got the request for medicals???? as you have just received your Second AOR..could youplease let us know about your NOC Category and ur status in USA etc
@ fj9292 : Based on what you say, I think the new file No. is the 2nd AOR we are talking about. I believe that your police certificate has reached there safely, hence they have issued you the new file no, and they asked you to do medicals (according to what is shown in your signature timeline)

I am facing the same problem. I could check my status with my previous file no. but after I was given the new file number, no records is available in ECAS. I think we should wait until they update it.
