sa travel agency din na nagbook ng ticket eh rate un ng first time immigrants..so you have to compare kung anong available na travel agencies at hand. Mind you, china airlines is one of the best na nasakyan ko na..worst is PAL.

Jobs? i was booked for a job interview to downtown Vancouver on Feb 14, 11 am. i hope this is really for me..6 days from formal landing may offer na..and my 5 year old kid receives 299.41 monthly child care benefits..that's according to the website calculator. pero kapitbahay namin receives 350 daw for one child..?

Hi civichonda! good for u, seems madaling makapag adjust dyan BC. How about your neighborhood? anong first impression mo sa kanila? Na mentioned nung speaker kasi sa COA seminar namin, there's still some discrimination that u cud encounter..

Also yung place, hindi pa ba congested dyan considering one of the big cities in canada, accessible ba ang transpo, supermarket, school, hospital? , etc..

BC is still not so crowded like Manila.. Believe me I live in a better neighborhood compared to Wimbledon, London. My apt is close to a bus stop, mall and sky train. I can't see discrimination here. Just show your professional skills and social skills may bacon ka na Laban sa mga puti.. Just bring updated references from previous employers, very important.just update their letter with their email add on it.. Oh by the way, I applied online and in 2 working days, I grab the post.. And now no more worries.. Next move, credentialling..

BC has a simpler train link/ route than London underground trains, so no worries if you don't have a car. Actually you don't need a private car here. We got bus, train, seabus and you can use a single translink pass to ride on every transport system..

My application got stuck for several months na due to Security clearance, like FBI clearance and Kuwait Police clearance.. been waiting for these clearances for more than 2months, ang tagal pala mag request nyan, unlike NBI makukuha na within a day or if 'HIT' around 2weeks...

anybody here na meron din requirements to get foreign clearance like FBI? how was your experiences?....
