Will we be able to get a reply from VO manila that our application/documents are "in process"? To date, I haven't received any yet. I only received my 2nd AOR last November 26, 2011 as well as their reply that my documents are on queue when I made the follow up last February 28, 2011.

You can check it without having to go to the VO by using your C-Cas in the CIC website, just click yung .. check application.

A3: Until the visa office or case processing centre to which you submitted your application for immigration or citizenship has begun processing your application, your application status will not be available through CAS. It is not necessary to contact the Call Centre - or, in the case of applications submitted outside Canada, the Canadian embassy, high commission or consulate overseas - regarding the status of any in-Canada applications unless the specified time period referred to below for the specific type of application has passed.

baka that applies to the new MI, kasi ako since nung ma receive ko yung 2nd AOR ko na che- check ko na status ko thru E-CAS, BTW, may 2nd AOR ka na ba?

nako. hindi ka pa ba in process?.
ako naman 5months na kong in process.

naku hindi pa...RBVO PA din .. matagal tagal na antayan pa ito...

i think oo.. kasi ang reply samin yong mahabang generic eh.. hindi ganyan..siguro matagal mga next year pa nga kme maiproprocess...

Is it alright to do status inquiry from time to time? I made 2 status inquiries already and the replies were generic. I am just worried if they get annoyed from my frequent follow ups. Please advise. thanks

Hi Gimbey, pareho kayo ng hubby ko gustong gusto magsecond stat inquiry...though ikaw naginquire na...pero sabe ko its better to wait or reapply kasi the same ans lang naman ang makukuha namin at baka makulitan at ilagay pa sa last papers namin (panakot ko lang sa kanya yon).. baka by next year pa talaga ang mga may 2010 applicants... ingats
