Naaah. I know the problem when I see one... DKAB is barking on the wrong tree... There is housing problem in Canada but it is intentional and has very little to do with immigration.
Lastly, I can still buy a ground floor apartment (which is what I and my family likes, staying on ground floor) anytime we want, all cash. So I am not that worried about problems he is so frustrated with. I am pushing for a single family home, which is indeed a luxury here in BC. Even that can be achieved if one goes to Alberta.
There are ways... or there were ways..
A 3000 SQFT lot (land only) costs 1.0 million.
A 6000 SQFT lot (land only) costs 1.25 million.
So what do you do? Buy 6000 with a bud and build a duplex on it with only garage sharing the wall... A little bit of white fence from Walmart and its all problems solved for 750-800K per-head. Not a bad deal.
Then, True-Blow went all crazy and raised all prices by another half a million. Hell with him.
Nope, this to me just defeats the whole purpose of having my own land. Sure it's wise money-wise but not what I like at all. I'm too much of a cowboy to share my land with people.
Anybody here added your spouse to the existing FSW application? I wanted to know what all upfront documents(Like PCC, Medicals) can I prepare as I have a few more months to marriage and wanted to add my spouse immediately.
The posts of PPRs have definitely increased in last couple of weeks. Hopefully IRCC will keep clearing backlog at a rapid pace. Canada will be open again from 1st March. Australia already opened flights for outside world again. Hopefully, no more Covid based delays and excuses
