Dude as of February 1, IRCC has a backlog of 64890 Federal High Skilled applications. They allocated 55900 processing capacity for this year, and by doing that they lowered the usual processing capacity of 110.000 for this particular program by %50. Also don't forget 10.000 from this year's quota have already been used in January.
Currently without any CEC or FSW draws, backlog itself is enough for IRCC to hit their entire 2022 target + some of their 2023 target. That's just the sad fucking truth. They may restart all program draws in the 4th quarter of this year at best to use them for 2023's targets.

yes, literally tr2pr and refugees destroyed the Express Entry least for 2-3 years. Sabotaged the entire system that even future cec's have to suffer.

I agree...i tried reading between the lines as well and it looks like they might introduce some additional points in EE for those already in Canada (when he specifically mentioned international students and temporary workers). Just my thoughts anyway....with IRCC, we are never sure of anything.

If all program draw commences then there's no cec specific draw in between. get high as 490+ or simply stay in pool is the only thing to do.

Actually, I am in favour of NOC specific draws-all program. There is no point of inviting people such as PHDs in mathematics as there is no demand.

There will always be more pathways for International students with Canadian experience, no matter CEC draws are continued or not. I don’t care about CEC draws.
