I don't understand this logic!? I get that local VO's have been sending PPRs for more recent applications but at least they are consistent timeline wise. I thought that Ottawa is not working at all but wtf is this? This is so not fair. The desperation is so real rn. Is there any way to request our case to be transferred to another VO? I am done with this bs.

As suggested by @EscoBlades i had recently sent a webform asking if there’s any further documents I need to provide to facilitate an officer to finalize our application. Jan 2020 AOR and all stages passed pending final decision. It’s been about 45 days since remedicals passed and submission of Schedule A.

Not impossible. I know 4-5 people who got PR in 3-4 weeks. But this was in 2017/2018 where if you were a US based candidate and your file ended up in Ottawa they would process it super quick. You can find multiple examples on this forum itself where people have got PR that quick.

There are cases like that as well. Not sure about 21 days for India but have read cases 30-40 days PPR even from India. So 21 days may be exaggerated but not impossible. Or may be he is counting only working days. If this was pre pandemic it is possible but still rare. Average for Ottawa pre pandemic was like 3 months.
