When you say North America, you mean just Mexico and Canada right? The United States don't honor the Canadian PR as a free tourist VISA, only fully fledged Canadian citizens that hold a Canadian passport are allowed to enter the US VISA-free.
That means we are again stuck with their cec prioritization, I think it and ircc have special hate for 2020,2019 applicants otherwise they won't fuck us like this.
There aren’t many CEC in the pool though. My estimate is there will be around 17k in Jan which could mostly be cleared Jan if they wanted. I don’t see how the extension impacts new CEC draws since if CEC is priority, they wouldn’t need more than a year. This is just to not waste precious resources which could be used on new PNP and Outland remedicals.

Yeah but this is my question, what if ,if they start cec draws fom let's say feb and again start processing cec at a lightning pace while our files are collecting dust. This is the only thing that bothers me because last year they did this, what prevents them from doing this year.

Well sure, there’s that chance, but that is kinda irrelevant to the extended medical situation. I view extending medicals for those inside better for us, since medicals are zero sum. New apps are waiting 3-4 months, so if they don’t have to waste time on a few tens of thousands of apps, that’s good for us I guess.
Thank you for sharing, but it seems that no matter I use my cell phone or laptop, I could not see those pictures clearly.
it would be really great if you could let us know what this document is about.
Thank you in advance
That’s my view. They are probably starting January with 25k-30k inland CEC, PNP, FSW and a backlog of 3-4 months in MEP. Seriously, whatever they can do to reduce that time should be seen and good. And if the extension is going until March only, that probably means they plan on having cleared it out by then.
Well said man. Dragging FSW dead only wastes people's time who could've easily gotten a PNP ITA. Announce the new rules so people can adjust to the new game.
Thanks for sharing! It would be a total waste not to invite candidates with very high points (470+). Let's assume they don't want to deal with FSW anymore because pandemic has made them realize that the program needs certain restructuring. If I were them I would announce that you can only apply as a FSW candidate until xxxx.2022, invite high score candidates and in the meantime restructure the whole program, change its basic principles. But this total silence ahh... .
Well, I just sent the webform, I doubt that anything bad would happen but just to be sure I have sent a web form with the letter of explanation etc. etc. I also told them that we got a little bit confused about Medical Section. This is the only thing we could do it I guess.
