Your medical expiry will most certainly be reflected on portal as it is an automated update - set to expire in one year. So your passed status will show to ‘not needed at this time’ when expired.
What can be silent is the extension which you would need to rely on gcms or contact the IRCC to find out.

I am hoping they finish processing at least 10k FSW cases before 2022. That would be 1/3 of the backlog. I imagine that finalizing 1st semester of 2020 would give that much. The first bottleneck is until end of March 2020, then there is very little cases until August 2020.
