A few PPRs a day literally means a 2 year long backlog though. It doesn't look like a rain at all sadly.

It is way better than not processing any thing at all.

Everytime they generated a GCMS for me, that resulted in a ghost update. They add a note to your application. If you order your second one, you'll see mention of the first one there.

I did see notes about the first one on the 2nd GCMS but that never resulted in a GU. Are you sure about the GU and GCMS ??? I had got 3 gcms notes so far. And I check my portal everyday. Never missed an GU.

It's raining in the Ottawa vo whatsapp group i belong to. Three people just got PPR in the last 1hour. The group is on fire. But i notice a trend. All those who got PPR tonight did remedicals around february and August.

I am curious as to why they started issuing PPRs now. It seems unlikely that any PPR issued now will result in a landing by end of this year. Have they already achieved the target for the year (seems unlikely)? Have they decided that the target is unachievable, so might as well start doing something fair? Not at all complaining, just curious as to what the rationale is.

Mondays are always slower. It was like that with the PNPs from sydney. best days are thursday and friday, but this week there will be a holiday.

I’ve ordered a number of notes, and none of them ever triggered a GU for me.

Did you order from IRCC or CBSA? I ordered from IRCC twice and saw ghost updates on the exact dates when they generated my notes.
