Well in my opinion, if it does not happen tomorrow, it'll not happen for the rest of the month. Or if we see pnp/cec draw tomorrow, it'll continue till the end of September

I personally think that it will be an all programs draw, or a CEC draw with only 1500 people.... and If there is a CEC draw with 1500 I'm 100% sure that there will be a new one on sept 15.

This is just a prediction with the actual trend of cec invitations.

Yup; i feel both the draws and processing were halted via the memo. We will see what happens after September 7

Can we travel by our invitation in 6 days? No. They can stop finalizations for border restriction but halting draws for that makes no sense. If they want to open borders on September 7th for sure they'd be aware of that on September 1st. It's not inviting ppl without having any speculation for border reopening. They're probably pausing draws as they want to meet their target by inviting and processing cec apps as much as they can. It's just my opinion, but I feel if we don't see an FSW draw tomorrow we'll not see it till October.

I think the only scenario we'd see a 1500 CEC is 4x1500 CEC in Sept. I doubt IRCC would prefer weekly draws at this point though; they're already bombarded with other EE apps. Also we can't say if there's no FSW tomorrow there won't be any in Sept. The 15th and 29th are important dates since there won't be international restrictions in place.

I still think JT might revive FSW to prevent O'Toole from making comments on the status of EE.

Well IRCC has had a (silly) excuse for 8 months but their excuse is out from Sept 7. It's not an easy thing to just keep the pause on FSW after that date. They'll need another valid (silly) excuse; especially in the month of the election.

If this were the case the cons (right-wing) wouldn't have an immigration agenda in the first place. The leaders have been talking about increasing the supply, not decreasing the demand. As I said before, the current conjunture in Canada does not allow anti-immigration propaganda.

Also, both IRCC and MM talked quite a few times about how immigrants help the economy in 2021. They're past the point where they can 180 on this.

If there will be PNP then it will be followed by CEC unless they will change something and they will do PNP/FSW or 3 program draw PNP/CEC/FSW - the last option is highly, highly unlikely
