Yeah, bro. Even though I'm very grateful for the life I have and I'm in a much better situation than most people, I can't help but think if I'm getting stressed over this, what about thousands of people who have it much worse than me? How are they coping?

True; some people can’t afford to stay 1 more month in the country they currently reside. Some countries are really a time bomb waiting to explode.

actually, I'm planning to apply for a resident visa. I will do it next month if there's still nothing from IRCC after 7 September.

Sept 7 is a short deadline. I suggest you wait until 2022 for the draws. You already have an app going so the start of draws is good news for you too. If no draws till 2022, you keep your app open but explore other options. See which option gives you an answer quicker.

Nah man I'm not losing hope, Canada desperately needs outland immigrants after all. Honestly I wouldn't care so much but I'm gonna lose 5 points so that sucks. Now I know I could sit down for 2-3 months memorize some french and get 4 points back, but I'm already very busy so I really don't wanna go that route.

What bugs me is how much political this whole thing became. I mean it's Canada, remember all the hollywood jokes about it. Never seen it this politicized.

I must say though, the time for despair was March 2021, or even June, but not now. POF update was shit and it didn't mean anything. But, steady drop (6k->4.5k->3k) in CEC means a whole lot. Why drop when it's almost guaranteed you're gonna fuck up your targets again next year? I'm so relieved to see where CEC invites came. I don't even care about fsw anymore, I track cec.

Just received GCMS notes (2nd ordered, first on Feb 2021 and now July 2021).
They extended my medicals last month, were supposed to expire in a week from today, but last month they were extended for 11 months.
Based on some documents shared here, I guess I am now group A, were documents have 6+ months of validity.
Hope my application gets processed ASAP once restrictions are lifted, AOR is Sep 2020
