If your current test is not expiring soon then I suggest you to wait till FSW draws are resumed because writing is such a pain. If you are confident about writing then go ahead.

I am happy sitting at 471(turning 30 was painful) lol my wife had her ielts marked badly twice in reading and listening but there’s no point in applying eor so i said what the heck lets wait!
If the need arises Cdielts takes less than a week for the result

wait for it mate! no point in going for a new one. I had 464 and got selected the first time I got it. Check the number of people currently in the pool:

you'll see that there are around 20k people with over 471 points atm. So if they start extracting FSW then in 4/5 draws/2 months you'll be in. this without any extra stress from changing applications and taking new IELTS stuff
