They can reach the quota this year by just finalizing the backlog. Could be they are reserving itas for later in the year which will go into next year’s quota.
Interesting, half of the invites as most of the year. Hope this means they want to reduce backlogs, start processing FSWs, and also doing the all programs once and for all

Some 45+ year old CRS350 CEC is waiting in great anticipation right now while I worked for years to get up to 481 and don't even have hope for an ITA any time soon lol. That's Canadian immigration for you.
Your CRS is 433? You don't even stand a chance if you apply now. With a below-average CRS score, you are lecturing folks with 480+ scores?? You should compete with Uncles and Aunties, not with us. Now, I understand your inferiority complex and why you don't want high scoring applicants like us to move to Canada. We are not gonna take your job of getting beaten by your wife, Pal. Relax.
it was actually 428, lost 5 points as my birthday present. although i have to commend you Rajesh, not easy to maintain a 480+ score and master the art of subway sammiches.

Dude's just angry with the situation, I understand him. Well we all are angry. While most of what he said are exaggerated, some of what he says is true. Or at least partly true. I really just hope all who have long waited get their well-deserved PRs soon.
Or maybe they will stop draws all together as they are very close to their yearly target ITA's because of the 27k draw. This is what happened in all of the previous years.
i envy you Rajesh, not sure how you do it man. 480+ score, masters degree and asking people if they want their sanwiches toasted or not.
must be a lot of work.
