Will IRCC turn its attention to FSW-Outland, now that it has been made clear that some students wont receive decisions on time.
They may have to start their semesters online.

I thought they might finish student visas by August end as classes start in September and then focus on FSW applications.. but now that theory goes out of the window too.. if they can’t finish student visas on time, FSW Outlands need to start thinking how they gonna kill the time untill IRCC wakes up

I think they need to work with full capacity to process Outland applicants as they did before COVID only then they could clear this huge backlog

They had it coming, with lack of transparency. Complete disarray and zero commitment towards applicant. They sure deserve it and I hope they get scolded for it by the government and future PR applicants who will one day become citizens.

ABI OOO...... Between Jan - April 2021(4months), IRCC Released more than 100,000 study visa. The Rate increased exponentially in the month of June and July. So if we look at that rate, this year alone, IRCC would have released more than 200k by now. If we say students are paying school fee, FSW are also Paying 1000s in the name of application fee and bring in 1000s of CAD as POF. So no one is superior to the other. IRCC should remember us too

The students suffer more. They are already paying fees for online courses and many are about to graduate this semester without having the "Canadian" student experience. Many have spent a lot of money and education loan is upon them. You should see those hundreds of comments for the tweet. They are undergoing tremendous stress.

Imagine spending thousands for Canadian education, probably with loans, wanting to use the post graduate work permit so you can become CEC, and having your visa rejected.

What bothers people the most is that they don’t have a plan at all about how they are gonna deal with the backlog, leaving people in desperate situations. They just tell you to wait. And the wait seems never end. When the vaccination rate is high enough to open border for tourism, they should go back to full capacity. But as days go by almost all we see and hear is bad news.

Not everyone is mentally fit to handle some things. If they have done their part IRCC should do theirs and stop using pandemic as excuse. They weren’t the only one affected, most developed countries have moved on. People are travelling everyday to the UK for studies and immigration. They don’t have 2 heads. IRCC should sit up and know that they have people future in their hands. Either they accept or reject they should just do something. Haba

Wow that’s a lot to deal with mentally. But the uni will refund your money yeah? They just have to cos all that money can’t just go plus the stress involved again. It’s just unfair

Some said they got a refund but it depends on the school. I can’t imagine that stress.

Even tho our situation is also pathetic, I feel so bad for those students i mean the school fees alone. It’s not easy at all. I never thought IRCC will stoop so low and betray so many people. I guess politics is everywhere whether 3rd world country or 1st world country.

If this chaos is happening in a 3rd world country I can understand but for a country like Canada is just sad. IRCC have to issue an apology after all is said and done not that it will do much, but at least let them admit they didn’t handle things properly.

well what I have learnt from this experience is trust no one but God. Every other person can betray you. I genuinely thought IRCC cared about us but apparently they don’t give 2 fucks. I mean we deserve a statement at the least cos they can’t say they aren’t seeing the numerous tweets and comments.

Hi All,

Today my father-in law and mother-in-law both got Passport submission request from IRCC for visitor visa.. We have applied their visa in Jan 2021... I think if they are processing visitor visa applications then I don't think they will hold PPR's for COPR holders... We can hope FSW as well in coming days
