IRCC (and their employees) don’t handle election related work. In fact they are supposed to ensure non-partisanship in the provision of their programs and services.
It makes zero sense for IRCC to be involved in elections in any way.
Insane that this continued to be an issue, given that IRCC contracted a company called Iron Mountain to help pick up and digitize a lot of their applications to enable their officers to continue to work safely from home while processing files. Because in some cases, some officers had to print physical papers out to allow them progress their processing in instances where stay at home orders were in force in their respective provinces.
Ultimately, it is crazy how glacial IRCC's progress was in equipping their employees to work from home effectively.
It wouldn’t matter because they weren’t finalizing FSW. Not because they kept inviting more, but for their own reasons (travel restrictions and such) having draws wouldn’t affect them dealing with the backlog if that’s what they want, since they can just stall processing the new applications while dealing with backlog. They aren’t dealing with the backlog because they don’t want to, not because they can’t.
You have nothing to say because there is nothing to argue against. You have the right to have your application processed, that's about it. There is no mandatory time by which they have to process anything, so stop legislating things which are nonexistent. You wait until they're done, that's it.
Just tone down your entitled way of thinking, you're criticising how things are done here and you've not contributed anything to this country yet.
Are you kidding me? Canada has an obligation to honor its promise to the world by offering the supposed to be greatest immigration system in the world. Not because you are already in Canada doesn't mean you can say those things! People are betting their lives here just to migrate to Canada.
