I get that you don't like his observations or arguments. But this ad hominem attack isn't any better. He generalized but this sounds more like a personal attack on him when he hasn't said anything which was directed personally at you. Not sure personal attacks build beautiful society.
The frustration from those people is unwarranted as long as those people are coming in legally using the same avenues which are available to anyone else. If, people coming from one country or ethnicity is an issue lawmakers of this country can do what US has done and introduce country caps.
It takes a very mature person to accept when a mistake happens and not get defensive about it. A very rare trait these days on online forums or platforms. Bravo!
Hopefully, it stays that way. Although, I am sure they will come up with thousands of draws. Seriously, it would help Liberals a lot if they pause these draws to be honest.
this thread should be killed and started anew. it is just now an echo chamber of armchair experts nitpicking each other. You would rarely come across a reply to the actual topic which is 'FSW Worldwide'
It's cause the mods in those subreddits are super left wing tyrants. If you even mention immigration as a cause of high housing prices, they'll ban you. Not saying Canada_Sub is legit but it's not the same with CH2. You can go to r/Canada to get a feel as well or CBC comment section on their website. Only people aged 40+ that already own multiple property aren't pissed.

Given how high the cutoff for general draws have been recently the lack of on-topic activity doesn't surprise me. The only FSW candidates in with a chance are probably busy studying French, and if one is willing to put in that kind of effort one is likely to be pretty well-read on this topic as well and does not have many questions left to ask. For my part I'm glad that regulars still pop by from time to time, enjoying the banter and hearing people's opinions on the state of the economy etc.
