I honestly don't know and my crystal ball in this sense is as bright as anyone else here and especially kubeir "SiR". I think they should follow their rhythm of 2 weeks but sometimes IRCC sings out of tune...
Yeah I'm not holding my breath. I'm at 498 points and getting very nervous haha. If they do it this Wednesday, I might get ITA but if it's 25th of Jan, I'll probably get it in the Feb draw. Very scared something is going to happen and they'll stop drawing. Did they ever do back to back weekly draws?
When do you think the next draw is? 25th of January right? Kubeir says it might be the 18th but I don't think they'll do two draws in a row. Did that ever happen haha?
Depends how risky or risk averse you are. You can move to US and try for Green Card but a Republican might get in 2024 and make life difficult (already 2023, crazy). On the other hand, if you don't you might always feel regret

I understand that. My debate is between spending 2.5 years in Canada to get my citizenship and going TN route vs spending 2.5 years in US to get my green card.

I need little help
Me and my wife gave our biometrics on 13th January 2023. I have two questions:
1. My profile current status says 'your action is required' and in biometrics section its written ' we need your finger prints to process your application '
2. In 'applicant information box' our biometric details are mentioned but my wife date of biometric enrolment is 4 April 2016 and mine is 13 January 2023. My wife is primary applicant.
My wife applied for Canadian visit visa back in 2014 for which she gave biometrics.
What should i do? I called vfsglobal helpline but they are of no help.
Anyone else faced the same situation? And can anyone guide me what should i do?
Thanks in advance
Go for option 3. Ask your employer to change the EB1 petition to consular processing and get your GC at visa interview at Canada consulate. No need for h1b etc.
Do you have some cash to spare? Hire a lawyer and get it done professionally. It will save you time effort and pain.
EB-1 is possible as well if you qualify but EB-1 C has dependency on employer. EB-1 A can be via self petition (just like EB-2 NIW). Check if your country is current for EB-2.. EB-2 NIW is usually easiest and you can be in Canada while your Green Card application goes through.
You have your answer. Avoid the uncertain path. Work for an American company in Canada, get Canadian citizenship and run to US thru L1A or H1, and then get your green card. By moving to US now with uncertainty on GC, you are losing Canadian PR and if you don't get your GC, you are back to square 1.
