No. It is other way round. Current immigration is insufficient (in numbers) and incompatible (in skills) with maintaining and rescuing the currently failing Canadian infrastructure.
If you are buying a house you better prepare to learn some handy work through YouTube otherwise the contractors/handyman will suck money out of you. Learnt the hard way.
Trust me, I am as handy as they come.. BUT somethings you better do not and can not do on your own.
Like abating lead paint with an encapsulating paint.
Like installing gas lines.
Like installing heat pump if you want to claim Canada Greener Home Grant and Clean BC grant.
Each of them is a price gouging and worse part? They are booked for 1 whole year if not more.
Until Canada would have figured out the best way forward and ramp up the quota where applicable (instead of blindly inviting 500K), numbers should have been matched with the current state of infrastructure. Improve infra, get more people. Get those people (or percentage) to improve the infra. Once that happens, ramp up the numbers again.
Nope. I have it enabled on firefox, and it works real-time on any and all videos, unless the uploaded specifically disables them (which rarely happens).
For the amount of natural resources that Canada has, it should have been a 10 trillion dollar plus economy. Its nothing but wasted potential because they do not have enough people to exploit it. And worse part? Most of them have gone grey.
What I fear is other powers will run out of resource and will start moving towards Canada.
Actually it has the most precious of all resources, fresh water.

You can not improve infra unless you have people to do it. Only way around is to invite massive amount of people in infra-building trades. General labourer, contruction workers, plumbers and so on. Canada has an absolute dearth of such workers here.

Instead of inviting 500K people, it could be better to increase PNP quota, and work with provinces on inviting NOCs that can help on scaling infrastructure. Meanwhile, higher ups start preparing to invite higher numbers. Build (or plan to) affordable housing; not many people can afford (nor should they) to pay 2500 CAD for 1 bdr in GTA. Work on provinces on licensing issues that prevent many medical professionals from practicing in Canada; don't cancel the requirements (that would be foolish) but streamline them.

475 was a good score in the past but recently FSW has been extremely competitive and 470-480 bracket has a lot of applicants (over 20k).
Can you improve your score in any way? Have you maxed out your language test results?
490+ would put you in a very strong position
Anything below that is a complete unknown as the new system will be implemented in April. It won't scrap the current system completely but it's likely that the threshold may be even higher.
It seems like at the moment, the best bet is to get extra points for French.
