Yeah, Scotia, TD, and RBC is super anal against WP/SP holders. CIBC/AMEX are cool with it though.

Oh, I have already been approved for the card. The FA at the bank told me I should receive one at my address in 7-10 days. The only reason I want to apply for another is that I've been told it's really easy to get your credit card blocked. I would be stuck with no way for paying for utilities if that happens.

Welcome bro. If you will be making monthly utilities payments, you can set up autopay to many businesses on your scotiabank account.

"Review Required" under eligibility means that there might be an issue with your work experience (duties/pay) being tied to the NOC Code you've applied under. That is the most common reason I've seen. Check to see the reviewing officers comments in the GCMS notes which talk about eligibility.

I think the due date is the theoretical date by which officers have to make a final decision on your application, but to be honest, it's just a load of cr*p.

Heathrow you don't need according to my knowledge.
My 2 cents it I always better to have layover in the same country in you case canada because if you miss the flight or something there it won't be complicated especially if you are traveling first-time.

As long you're not waiting in transit for more than one night, you don't need a UK transit visa with a valid Canadian visa. Bear in mind though that Heathrow closes at night and you may have to find a hotel if you're waiting in transit overnight.

I believe a lot of members in this group had the same message on their GCMS notes, but I don't recall a single case that the officer made the final decision by the due date.

Hey, AOR 17 Feb 2021, medicals has been automatically extended 26 May 2022 with no GU, no updates since then. Applied two times for gcsm notes with no reply so no idea what VO. Hopefully the medical extension is a good sign.
