Guys, if there were only NOC specific draws, wouldn't they have told us today? Perhaps, there may not be NOC specific draws after all? I got 500+ points due to French but a bit concerned about NOC specific draws. Hoping for the best! For myself and for all of you!
I interviewed with a whole lotta companies at the start of the year. There are virtually no SDE opportunities outside of Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Kitchener-Waterloo. But a lot of them were offering remote roles anywhere in Canada.
But the software industry in Toronto has been growing on steroids during the pandemic - pretty much every silicon valley company has a branch there now. In 2018/2019, it was just Amazon (and Google in Kitchener).
If you didn't get any ADR yet (but you know your eligibility has passed), send them a Schedule A, recent PCC and remedical (if expired). Trust me, this will get someone to look at your application and trigger further processing.
PS: this trick will mostly work for the master race applicants only .
I requested them. Still haven’t received them. Why do you think that there would be any concerns? I thought concerns arise when they actually start reviewing the file
Knowing my luck, I will either become like @Glaber and conquer all the Canadian medals (OINP nomination left before All Program draws), possibly a US DV lottery in May just for the fun of it and become a Canadian and US citizen in the process....
If I were, I'll do something to trigger a check in my files. Has your medicals expired? Do a re-medical. Have you made any any major changes in the past year (moved countries, jobs etc) - send in a Schedule A.

which country are you applying from? That will determine if they are likely to extend or not. Also, if your medicals expired since January, your gcms will reflect an extension by now (if extended).
