Speaking of "disappointing", the only update from my Aug note is the webform reply to my status inquiry back in June. Not only they pasted entire email in my notes taking almost a whole page, but it was also clearly labelled as a "standard reply sent". Paying 15 bucks & waiting 7 weeks to read that is really heartwarming.
I received GCMS OCT/NOV 2020. At that time my eligibility was completed. I did not complete my biometrics at that time because VAC was closed in India. Status of my Criminality/Security/Medical was received through webform and phone call post Feb 2021 when I completed my biometrics. I consider them unreliable.
Yes, I know people from London and Singapore who got CoPR during the pandemic. Ottawa VO seems to be the one with one of the worst backlogs. I wish IRCC transferred more apps overseas for faster processing.

I just logged into my IRCC account ( I am pathetic, I do this everyday). I noticed the 'current status' row say 'Application profile updated' but when I clicked the link, I saw nothing changed (Eligibility still pending, etc even though I know from GCMS that it has passed. See signature).
After clicking the link, the current status went back to 'submitted'. Is this the ghost update I've been waiting for?

There is no explanation as to whether these occurrences even mean anything. Every time I've seen that happen with my profile (which has been 3 times at this point, I think) it's been when I've clicked really fast. Then, I go back around and that status has changed. I think maybe it's just a system glitch and doesn't mean anything at all.
Can`t really see a connection here. I feel like Canada`s institutions shouldn`t be that dependent on political events. But yeah, everything is possible

I refreshed a few times before clicking the link. The status changed back to 'submitted' only after I clicked the link (meaning I've read the status). I'm hopping that it's the case that someone changed something on my file.
