Okay, I wasn't aware of that but I'm worried if they asked for re-meds then getting an appointment, doctor uploading the result and not sure when the next officer will have a look at my case might add lot of delay to the application.
Getting a medical in India is around 100$ USD only.
In that case do an upfront medical if that gives you peace of mind. In the end no one can predict IRCC's action. So do what makes most sense with respect to cost and feeling good
Agree here. However, it's weird that there are unicorn companies operating from within Canada (ApplyBoard) that promote this. I do think that those kids are not victims; anyone with the internet can check. The only person I feel bad for is that girl's father. Seeing him working so hard just to give his daughter the future he has never had... Idk, I feel bad for the guy.
This video is actually pretty interesting. Fraser knows about it, JT openly admits that they need international students. It seems like one of the pillars of Canadian economy is constant flow of foreign students.
When a college puts up a 'no students allowed' sign in front of their main entrance, you know its legit.
Besides the girl said she wanted to make memories on campus. I mean she has a hell of a story to tell her grandkids.

Yeah you're right, the parents who toil to put their kids in Canadian colleges are the real victims. And yeah, the Canadian govt 100% knows about it. Given the opportunity to improve the situation, they didn't do it. Because it would impact their bottom line.

In one year the number of candidates added to the 470-500 pool has been from about 17k (Aug 21) to 35k (Oct 22). While 500-600 it has been from 2.2k (Jul 21) to 8.7k (Jul 22) to now 2.2k (8 real draws or about 5 draws of 4250) as of today.
Since I am bored to infer from all this but I would say 1000 will be added to pool every draw between 450-500, 500 added from 500-600 and about 1000-1500 pnp will be above 600 in the draws replished every 2 weeks. This means you can expect the draws to fall much more slowly below 500 than above it. And if I was to guess you can consider that only 2000 per draw will be depleted for you to be relevant. So based on where you are in the points pool I would say you can calculate that way when the cut off will get close to you. Per month you can consider 2000-2500 in the pool getting exhausted from the 500 mark and below.
From this calculation I would say it will take 4-5 months or 8-9 draws to hit 481 and maybe 6 more months to reach 470 mark. This number includes the replenishment number and pnp invites and assumes the current cadence of draws continues without any disruption.
Congrats everyone

+500 again

Almost no one over 500 nowadays.
I'm not sure if this is the correct thread to post this query, but I'd appreciate some inputs on this:
Since we can see a decrease in the CRS cutoff in each round, what do all of you predict to be the lowest CRS cutoff possible before the new NOC-specific draws are conducted? Also, is there any news of when the NOC-specific draws would "possibly" begin from? The reason for asking these queries is to know if this is a good time for someone to enter the Express Entry profile, considering the new changes in the system which are to be expected.
Thanks.

Go to any Tim Horton's and you will understand why colleges like Alpha College are allowed to exist...

You assumed too much in this analysis.
Believe me, knowing IRCC's way of handling things in the past 2+ years, I can guarantee you that nothing goes in the same direction too long for them.

No one knows for sure. Given the trend over the last couple of months, it's reasonable to expect that CRS threshold will continue going down around 4 point in every draw. There should be 4 more draws before Christmas, so I think the threshold will drop to around 480.
Things to bear in mind:
- There are almost 20,000 applicants in 470-480 bracket, so once we hit 480, threshold may come down only around 2 points per draw.
- The draws won't be increasing forever. Biggest draws were 5,000 (not counting one-off CEC draw) so we're almost back at this level. The last time IRCC did those big 5,000 draws, they then stopped FSW for 18 months, so I guess you could speculate that they're drawing as many applicants as possible (within reason) before NOC-specific draws.
- NOC-specific draws are supposed to start in early 2023. I heard something about March-April but I'm not sure if it's true.
In short - I think CRS cut off will drop to around 480 by the end of the year. Anything beyond that is a complete unknown.

These guys don't understand that Canada doesn't need well-qualified, two master-degree holding, francophones from Europe. They need cheap labour do stuff that white people don't wish to do.
Removal of 20-hour work week limit for students should give them a hint of reality. They are looking for mexicans but from Asia.
When do you guys think bill -19 will be in place?

Thanks for your inputs. It makes more sense to me now. Also, congrats on receiving your ITA!
Would you recommend an applicant (FSW) with about 2 years of experience to enter the Express Entry pool now, given the changes anticipated (which obviously no one is clear about)? Or do you think it's better to go on a study visa and then enter the pool via CEC? Or, possibly gain more years of work experience and enter the pool?
Hi everyone, so I got my PPR about two weeks ago and I plan to move to Canada early next year, Ontario specifically.
I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with applying for roles in financial services before landing, I’ve been applying for positions but I haven’t gotten any positive feedback yet.
