I am aware of 3 cases ( Through my Consultant ) who got their PPR(2) Mail yesterday. All of them happen be in India and their COPR had expired a few months back.
Maybe it shows they are starting to finalize group A? Finally some good news, along with the fact that they sent out the survey for “operational planning”. At least it shows they are aware fsw cases still exist!

On a positive note, if they are issuing PPRs to expired COPRs, it very good. If they could clear up this backlog before 7 September then they could fully focus on giving fresh pprs to outlanders

May be thats what we should wait for instead of border opening.
They will get to us after Expired Coprs are dealt with and the Student Visa rush is completed.
In the latest interview that was posted here, they said they were close to clearing the expired COPRs. It was like 13000 reissued or in the process of reissuing COPRs out of the total 15000

I think if they wanna do things quicker, they definitely can. 2021 CECs are enjoying PPR rains for a very long time.
Hope they are changing the gear for overseas applicants. No reason to hold back anymore.
Border is opening; copr holder are exempt already; the annual target could benefit from issuing pprs to outlanders.
Resuming the all program draw and issue PPR to overseas applicants is the way to go! Do you hear me? Marco
