It took me 5 mins to make up my mind where I want to settle in Canada. Alberta it is then. Low cost of living and environmental friendly. The only downside I saw was the lack of job opportunities which isn’t a major concern for me. Anyone has experience living in Edmonton or Calgary?

I haven’t really given it much thought until now. I’m looking at Ottawa for it’s peacefulness and Calgary for affordable housing. I’ll visit different cities in Canada once I’m there then make up my mind about which one I like best.

Ottawa ain't peaceful these days.

No. I didn’t get anything between the remed request last year and the ppr email today.

It is COLD! Its just that it is sunny as well. And they get spells of warm weather due to chinook. It is not "chilly" in terms of winds.

So about an hour after I got the email from IRCC, I received the GCMS notes I applied for in November (today is the 44th day). I wonder if one triggered the other??

You mean 44th business day? is that duration measured in business days or calender days?

Not business days. Actually I made a mistake. I applied for the notes on the 21st of November 2021. On 21st December, CBSA sent an email asking for a 45 day extension. Today is 44 days post the email. Tomorrow would have been the due date.
